I cannot possibly sing the praises of this case enough
I ve been building my own computers for decades and this is far and away the best I ve ever had
You can choose to install your PSU either above or below the motherboard I went with below for greater stability
The large diameter fans spin at a lower speed giving you lots of great airflow for relatively little noise The fans come with molex adapters in case your motherboard doesn t have four sockets for case fans
The case itself is tool less and all drives can be mounted in a tool less fashion but if you prefer you can screw the drives in the traditional way should vibration be a concern Personally I ve had no issues with the tool less option for all my drives Even your PCI expansion cards e g video card can be installed in either a tool less fashion or with screws Getting in and out of this case is incredibly easy The same goes for swapping parts in and out once you re inside the case This case is a pleasure to work on
The cable management in this thing is a dream Typically the inside of my rigs look like a spaghetti factory exploded but even I was able to make the inside of my rig look pristine a good thing given the transparent side of the case Despite routing cables behind the motherboard somehow all the cables I had reached everything they needed to just fine Not only does this make your computer look nicer but it helps to improve airflow as if having four giant fans weren t enough
The front panel has every kind of connector imaginable including eSATA and are positioned at the top making them easier to get to if you put your computer on the floor like many people do
Oh and the interior of this thing is roomy You ll have no problem fitting the biggest of video cards and still have room left over for a four year old to move in and build her own dollhouse
My only real gripe with this thing is that the power and HD activity LEDs are awfully bright but this is only an issue if you have your computer in your bedroom and leave your computer on at night I guess they figure you need the bright lights to warn low flying aircraft as it is an awfully big case
One warning the top of this case is not closed It has an open screen for the fan at the top of the case If you have young children put your computer someplace high to prevent any spills from going directly into the guts of your rig

Awesome its like a computer components mansion Throw whatever you like in this bad boy I was thinking about renting it out Wont be competing in any beauty contests and fans could use an upgrade but all is made easy with this wonderful case

I picked this case because the graphics board an ATI Radeon HD5870 extends beyond the mother board and has connectors off the end I wanted room for cables and air flow so I selected this full size case It is steel and therefore heavy but since I really only have to pick it up and move it around while I am assembling my system this is only a temporary inconvenience I am running a drive for the OS and a RAID 1 for data 2 more drives along with an Aero Cool 1000 temperature monitor and a couple of CD/DVD drives so I need at least six of the bays plus extra for the future Also I have a 1000 watt power supply and it fit very nicely in the bottom of the case
If you have the space for a full size case I would recommend this case for all the room to fit everything into my case still looks empty even with everything I have in it for air flow and ease of cable routing Using a few tools to mount things is not a big deal with me The only down side is the lack of filters for the big fans
