Once again Amazon comes along with great pricing normal installation for PCI Bus its a x16 PCIe Slot/its a Vista compatible hardware but its can be used with WIN 7 once the drivers have been gathered up use the Windows Compatibility website /they will LINK you to the appropriate drivers for WIN 7 this Vid card will NOT show on the First Page I needed to find it on a second page/and a LINK for the drivers was right there The CARD is excellent for internet and internet TV I do alot of camcorder video work its been a improvemnt in Windows Live Movie Maker the Card has removed all the CHOPPY stuff from internet TV it speeds up the intenet on webpages I m useing a 500 watt PSU and a E7500 CPU the power supply now gets more warm than before but with Pentium 4 531 this same power supply would run extremely HOT so there s no issue at 500 watts of power/useing a dual core processor/it says it will play PC Video Games but I think that would require a 800 watt power supply PSU its is a 500 improvement on integrated video cards/even the most latest designs GET IT its great

I had added this graphics card in an attempt to use two monitors on an Acer mini tower However the motherboard vga port went dead when this second vga port was added Acer wouldn t help because 3rd party hardware was involved Heck I was not asking about the new port but about the dead port on the Acer motherboard
This graphic card comes with two plugs one for a common VGA and the other for DVI connection On a whim I attached one monitor to the VGA connector and used a DVI to VGA adapter for the other monitor Much to my amazement both monitors worked together to double my desktop I could forget about the dead VGA port on the Acer motherboard
I would have awarded five stars if this two monitor capability had been mentioned in the Sapphire card s documentation

this videocard was purchased for dual monitor display so I can watch netflix on a 42in hdtv the videocard does not have fan for cooling but I noticed no heat build up so no fan meant no noise I did have some problems with setup disc but went to ATI web site and downloaded it with no problems this is not a videocard for gaming but I didnt get it for that purpose this videocard is real easy to install and easy to setup with good instructions that you get online from ATI I will recommend this videocard to buy to anybody who wants to setup dual display
