>> Good Card
I replaced an HD3850 with this card The card is considerably smaller Performance is about the same maybe a bit faster Primary reason to replace the older card was to get the HDMI port
>> Fast card lots of features at a great price
I am using this card on a Win7 x64 system with an i7 860 ASUS P755D Pro The card is running two 25 5 ASUS VW266H 25 5 Inch Monitors at 1920x1200 on each monitor 3840x1200 combined
I toyed around with eyefinity but decided not to use it since it made running programs at full screen troublesome since the center of the app is where the two monitors meet That being said I can watch full screen video s and 3d screen savers and have no complaints I am not a gamer just the occasional video here or there
The card is quiet despite the fact that it has a fan I never hear the thing
>> It s a FAILURE
It s really hard to review this card as all I ever get is the now commonly reported Black Screen at boot There is an apparent incompatibility with this card and older 2 5 yr old motherboards So unless you bought a new CrossFireX Motherboard matching CPU RAM and a VERY powerful powersupply mine is a brand new 650w SLI/Crossfire certified and decent RAM to go with this card don t waste your money it ll ONLY end in heartbreak My own 130 upgrade is now a 700 upgrade
Maybe 5750 models from other manufacturers don t have this problem but Sapphire sure does
Do yourself a favor and stick with nVidia cards They are more reliable I ve been an nVidia backer from day one but wanted to give ATI chips a shot see what I get for that Next card I get will DEFINITELY be nVidia
