I purchase this PS to use on my primary CPU when i start my computer just trow away sparks I decided that I don t care about the warranty on this unit and opened it to check to see what happend I have see a worse unit than this CoolMax Don t waste your money

My new 500w Coolmax Power supply is running great A very good value for the price I have another 550w power supply that cost me 85 more This one works just as good for 35 All I received for my extra 50 is a blue light that glows from the computer but I can t see it as my computer is in a cabinet with a door on it

I was very pleased with this supply it was extremely quiet looked good and the price was appealing Unfortunately about 6 months after installing it my system began to crash intermittently It seemed to be temperature related and after ruling out the dual core micro and the memory I installed a new supply Problem solved

So if you get one of these hang on to the receipt I didn t This is the first supply I ve lost in 15 years
