Excellent motherboard Although the supplied software isn t compatible with Win 7 the motherboard itself has no problems with Win 7 64 bit If you really want to use the supplied software Asus has it as a download on their website I currently have a Q8400 2 6 Ghz overclocked to 3 6 Ghz using this motherboard The overclock has the motherboards FSB 1800Mhz and its been very stable the entire time I have gone as high as 2000Mhz FSB but after several hours of running Prime95 it would shut down It seems like this can easily handle 2000Mhz and possible higher but I just didn t have the right voltage set Simply put this is a great motherboard for overclocking or just for basic computing The dual PCIE slots make this great for gaming if you want to set up a dual GPU/Xfire
The Asus P5Q Pro Turbo could easily be in the next pricing tier higher It will easily satisfy your basic computing needs and will also satisfy those who love to push their CPU to the limit by OC ing

Asus mobo exceptional as has been my experience with their products Manual is easy to follow board is very well put together feature set is even more than I expected the only area I found a problem was the software / supplied DVD The DVD does not support Windows 7 64 bit so I had to download everything from the Asus site and in this area Asus does not deliver their typical high standards Their support website lacks the fundamentals their manuals follow It is not easy to follow there are duplicate and triplicate copies of the same utilities beta and full release code blended together
Aside from the website issue I couldn t be happier with the mobo Asus does a great job of identifying everything on the board They engineer boards that are real show pieces open case users will appreciate this board and where connections are placed easy to hide cabling
A note for the mobo replacement type If you are not looking for advanced feature set no intention of tweaking and never see yourself over clocking your system then this board is overkill But it sure is great fun to explore
