I bought this to replace another major brand supply with a failing fan
PROS It s perfectly quiet as you d expect from a contemporary supply with a 120mm fan Adequate power connectors 4 SATA a PCI E etc and all long enough to get where I needed to in my old skool full tower ATX case The case is the standard plated steel though nicely finished with no sharp edges
CONS Premium supplies will have all the cables tightly tied off or arranged in cable looms not so here No power factor correction chances are you won t miss it Could use more than 2 4 pin power connectors though the 4 SATA connectors help
Overall meets all my expectations doesn t go out of the way to exceed them but very good for the price

I BOUGHT THIS POWER SUPPLY TO REPLACE A CHEAPER ONE THAT ONLY LASTED A YEAR THIS ONE WAS EASY TO INSTALL AND AT THIS POINT IT IS WORKING GREAT

The fan is quiet as one would expect The construction is sturdy and i like the fact that it is energy star rated I was not pleased with the fact that it took 15 days to receive the item which was originally listed as In Stock and I did not even receive notification that there was a problem with supply until 9 days after I placed the order When your PSU is dead that s a bit irritating
